We are pleased to announce the first release of mip (https://mip.sh), a package manager for MATLAB that makes installing such packages a one-line operation: >> mip install chebfun >> mip load chebfun What mip does: - Automatic path management: load and unload packages instead of manually editing the global path. - Pre-compiled MEX binaries: packages with C/C++/Fortran ship pre-built binaries on Linux, Mac, and Windows. There is no compiler or toolchain to set up. - Dependency resolution: package dependencies are installed and loaded in the right order. The default channel includes many popular numerical analysis packages, and anyone can host their own channel. mip is pure MATLAB and open source. Documentation and the full command reference are at https://mip.sh. ------------------------------------------------------- From: Tristan van Leeuwen t.vanleeuwen@uu.nl Date: July 09, 2026 Subject: SampTA 2027 - Utrecht - July 26-30, 2027 Dear colleagues, It is our great pleasure to announce SampTA 2027, the 16th International Conference on Sampling Theory and Applications.
