vrfy - set of perl and shell scripts to verify the existence and contents
       of packages at remote sites.

archfs - reads a comp.archives spool directory and creates a little
       file system of sorts from the "Archive-name: headers.

spec - specifications for a properly formatted comp.archives article.

archive-sites - sites which keep comp.archives back issues on line,
	with some sketchy information on access and servers set up
	to give network-accessable indexed access.
