This directory contains CSRI Technical Report #290 entitled "The Composition of Property-Preserving Event Systems" by John P. Nestor If you have "compress/uncompress" on your system, ftp the file tr290.ps.Z, uncompress it, and print (lpr) the result to a PostScript printer. Be sure to use binary mode for the ftp. If you do not have compress, then ftp the file tr290.ps in ASCII mode, and print (lpr) the result on a PostScript printer. If problems are experienced because of the size of the files, you may instead ftp (ASCII) the split files tr290.ps.aa through tr290.ps.aj. Catenate them into sequence on your system, and print (lpr) the result to a PostScript printer. WARNING Due to the manner in which this report was prepared, the printed copy will likely contain a few spurious blank pages (with the banner "[This page should be blank.]") at the beginning and end of each chapter, the Table of Contents, etc. If you are not making further photocopies of the report, or if you are making only single-sided copies of the report, simply discard those spurious pages. If you plan to make double-sided photocopies, you will notice that the offsets on even and odd pages are different to allow for binding. Please check the pages carefully before and after each section to ensure that the right number (0 or 1) of blank pages exists between sections to preserve the even/odd page arrangement.
