uncompress it, and print the result on a PostScript printer. Be sure
to use binary mode for the ftp.

If you do not have compress, then ftp the file csri312.ps in ASCII
mode, and print the result on a PostScript printer.


			   Abstract
		
This report is a point-form chronology of major developments in
parallel computing and supercomputing from the 1950s to 1992.  The
emphasis is on commercial systems; theoretical ideas and academic
research projects are included only where the author knows them to
have had a significant influence on users.
