Downloading OME3


Windows 95/98/NT

If you already have the Java Development Kit (1.2) or the Java Runtime
Environment (1.2) installed on your machine, you should download:

/cs/ftp/pub/eric/ome3/ome3v055.zip (approx 2.0 Mb).

If don't have either of these packages already installed (or you're not
sure), you should download

/cs/ftp/pub/eric/ome3/ome3v055j.zip (approx 6.9 Mb).


Solaris

Not supported (yet).

Installation Instructions


Make sure that you have downloaded one of the two zip files above, and that
you know where on your file system the zip file is.

You will need to create directory (folder) where you want to keep your OME3
application files (e.g. c:\Program Files\ome3).

Now extract the downloaded zip file into the newly created directory. Be
sure include all sub-directories when you do this.

Running OME3

To use OME3, you simply need to execute the file "ome3.bat" located in the
directory that you created during the installation procedure. For example,
execute "c:\Program Files\ome3\ome3.bat".
