The Berkeley Cray has highly optimizing and vectorizing FORTRAN, C, and PASCAL compilers; extensive mathematical and statist- ical subroutine libraries, including IMSL, NAG, and SCILIB; GKS graphics and X Windows; and the UNICOS versions of the standard UNIX utilities. o+ IBM 3090 model 300E running the VM/XA SP operating system. The CMS system has many general purpose packages, such as BMDP, SAS, and SPSS-X for statistics, TELL-A-GRAF and DISS- PLA for graphics, and the FOCUS database management system.
