Apr 9, 1996 xmovemouse release 1.2 Xmovemouse will warp the pointer to the named window, or, if the window is unmapped, to where the named window would have been mapped. By default, it will move the pointer to the upper left corner. X and Y co-ordinates within the window can be specified on the command line. Unless the -n option is specified, xmovemouse will raise the named window to the top of the stacking order, if it's mapped. If there exists more than one window on the current screen with the same name, xmovemouse will pick one, in an implementation-dependent way. Installation: 1. If you're using Imake, type "xmkmf; make" 2. If you're not using Imake, edit Makefile.noimake. You will need to tell the compiler where to find the X11 library and the X11 includes. The only X11 library that xmovemouse needs is -lX11. Some operatings systems (eg. Solaris 2.x) may require specifying other libraries, like -lsocket. Type "make -f Makefile.noimake" 3. Type "make install" or install xmovemouse by hand. The latest version of xmovemouse can normally be found at "ftp://ftp.cdf.toronto.edu/pub/xmovemouse/". Comments, bug reports, fixes, enhancements, etc. are welcome.
